Hello and Welcome to New Beginnings and Horizons.   I am a Psychotherapist and skilled Clinician in the field of Mental Health Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy (licensed in the State of Florida).  I hold a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Arts from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.  My areas of clinical expertise include mental health counseling, addiction counseling, couples counseling, family therapy, and specific presenting concerns of depression, anxiety, blended families, and young adults.

I am also a certified Family Court Mediator, a trained EMDR clinician (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and a certified “Prepare/Enrich” and “COUPLE Communication” facilitator.  I provide easily accessible teletherapy services to adults of all ages in this time of uncertainty, anxiety, but more so due to, increased isolation caused by the COVID19 pandemic.

My personal motto as a Clinician is “Being of Service and Helping Others.”  I believe strongly in the philosophy of instilling “Hope” to those with whom I am fortunate to cross paths with, because with “Hope” comes possibility.  As a Clinician, my goal is to continually work to provide you with appropriate, high quality service; the best possible care; respect your rights; and to recognize your responsibility as a Client. It is my belief that a Client who is willing to look at his/her challenges in a new way and who understands and participates in his/her care can achieve better results.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, motivational interviewing and trauma-focused therapy. My goal is to meet you where you are at and join with you, as we work towards accomplishing your treatment goals.
